  1. I like what Pastor Slade and his church is doing. Many churches are seeking to help out low-income seniors. I myself, have my name on a waiting list for senior apt in Florida owned by the Presbyterian church. I am aware of a few similar apts ( small studio, large studio and 1 bedroom) owned by the Lutheran and Presbyterian churches in Florida where the apt rent is from $475-$575 per month. The catch- waiting list. It could be 2-3 years to go to the top. And then you have to pass their interview. Nothing is guaranteed. Some hope perhaps.
