I've floated the idea of semi-autonomous solar/wind/wave powered collecting,sorting, and recycling robotic stations that discern living material from plastic and other man made debris found in the oceans. also the same solar/wind/wave powered desalination plants off the coast of every major coastal city supplying clean fresh drinking water for the masses. we have the technology, we just need to apply it, I'm trying to impress this upon my grand kids, they have the knowledge, now Use It to save the Planet.
