  2. we had a pigeon blown into our carport from a recent storm, he was bruised but not broken, he hung around for a couple of days, regained his orientation and some strength, seed, greens and water provided by the hosts and a quiet corner to rest. 3 days later he's flapped off and came back the next morning for breakfast. LOL Walter is always welcome.

I let the pros take care of that, I don't want to work for the grocery store. which is what you're doing when you self check, you're working for the grocery store without an employee discount, paycheck or benefits other than the privilege of shopping in their grocery store. Let the Cashier do they're job, and the courtesy clerk there helping with the bagging, be polite and share some kindness to the people taking care of you and your food.

  5. See? Kids can be bright and smart and interested, you really have to work with them though, you can't just hand them a pad and say go sit down and watch this. Children have minds that need to be formed and educated how to express and process feelings without turning to violence. a lot of parents don't have those skills.
