Sue Perkins is so fun, even when she's being serious and addressing important issues, you want to listen to her because she may present an unpleasant idea in a palatable way. I wish she were in the Media more! I truly feel she could help shift the paradigm of contientious living without having to ''Give Up'' anything, she's all about personal comfort, you can tell.

to begin with, we cannot 'fight' climate change, we can only adapt to the avalanche of climate upset we have set into motion, but, we can do something about the situation by not adding to the problem. we need to cease the use of fossil fuels. plain and simple. everyone whines on about how impossible that is, our whole world is geared for fossil fuel consumption..there was a day when we didn't use oil and gas to fuel our civilization, now is the time to move on to the next source of energy, our original source of energy, the Sun and while we're at it, the wind offers a lot of free energy as well, just harvesting is the issue, but with practice and technological application we can do it. there are no Other Worlds for us, we really need to take Serious Steps to Preserve our little Home World. and not let greedy industries and militaries take it from us, anymore. the whole idea of eating/living a balanced life is thrown completely out of balance when you deny yourself any food. limiting intake is okay but eat a full variety of fats and sugars and carbs and proteins and roughage..doing too much of any one thing is not balanced. even eating too much of a balanced diet isn't balanced.....
