  1. they don't want the tourists spending their money in their city to keep it afloat both financially and physically? you can choose where to live, if you do not want to live in one of the World's most sought out destinations by 7 billion people, then you need to rethink your living situation. I live in Denver, it too is a destination point, now that it has legal marijuana, but we are dealing with the overwhelming influx of people happily leaving their money behind when they leave. humans are not respectful of themselves let alone anyone else's home or lives. these expectations are unrealistic unless they district off the city to tourist and non-tourist areas. keep your ''historic attractions'' concentrated to one area of the city, funneling the tourist trade, drain them of their currency and return them to their transports, leaving the rest of the city to live a ''normal life''....way over inflated expectations for someone who lives in a Global Hot Spot. Venicia Italia....Bellisima!!!
