Humans are witnessing processes they've ignored all their civilized lives. Nature Evolves, it Changes Constantly, why do you think we keep finding new species? Nature Evolves. We're not losing biodiversity, it is shifting around us, and humans, ego driven, think they are the cause, yes in some cases, pollution kills, no in most, Nature Evolves.
Let that be a warning to the Human Species, you have an infestation of troglodytes and the entire species may have to be cleared to be rid of the troglodyte infestation. Nature will be around long after humans are gone. How many dinosaurs do you see running around?

The World needs to learn how to live with it's waste it's created. it doesn't 'go' anywhere, it's still here, on Earth. Instead of relying on fossil fuels to provide resources for plastics, there is now enough plastic that it can be recycled for most products needed. Plastic should not be running around free in Nature, it should be locked up in everyday products, building supplies, furniture, clothing, flooring, wall coverings, dishware, drink ware, car shells, packaging, all recycled from the materials found in landfills and floating in the seas. Plastic can save forests, most everything we make from wood can be made from plastic. Plastics are a good thing when used wisely, like ANY technological advance.
