I"m probably going to get a bucket of hate for this but...... is it always the Girls that Go For the Selfie, first? ....the other bears avoided the camera, the girl bear Went For It. owell, there'll be no scientific grants to study the phenomenon gender propensity for ''selfies''.....female vs. male habits. I'm betting on GIRLS!!!

I like when the other squid tried to help their friend remove the POV camera...grabbing and biting at it....and how other check it out and back away in perceived disgust.....eww what's that sticking out of your back?......oh dude...sorry.....

if someone does not want to be photographed, and you go ahead and do it anyway, ''to get the story''...isn't that a violation of respect? you negate the wishes of another person for your own personal gain? ''I do not want my photo taken'' seems easy enough to understand...unless you're driven by the greed to get paid for your ''story'' it even sounds like an act of theft. Have Their Picture Taken. perhaps not everyone wants to be a global media star.

does everything have to have religious significance?...what about pure aesthetics?..perhaps the images were to remember a beautiful animal or a moment of life, birth, death, marriage, tribes joining, celebrations. we have such a self-centric view of the world...we think what people did 10's of thousands of years ago has any bearing on what and how we live today. ever think these creations predate ''gods and spirits''?....obviously not. we take our notions with us and tack them all over these peoples' expressions of their lives. very sad indeed. we can't accept them as graffiti or maybe teaching tools. or maybe to just make the cave look nicer. we put pictures up in our caves. what's the difference? perhaps the paintings were even commissioned, ever think of that?...

I'm glad to see that the human imagination is still being used for good. Thanks for putting something Good on the wwweb.

who ever put this video together needs a lesson in positioning. when you are showing mosaic floors, don't put your oh so important explanation over them, use the space where there are no mosaics to marvel at, like up on the adobe walls and in screen killing sun drenched doorways. Slackers are now in control, good enough is job done

one would hope that anyone going to Mars would expect to not have the luxuries of space and open air as we do here on Earth. we would have to winnow the chaff to find people who thrive in enclosed environments and not go crazy after months of years of being ''closed in''....not everyone is cut out to go to Mars. or Space in general.

thanks for the brain candy mint! after watching these I feel a tingly and fresh! like I've just had a breath mint after a heavy garlic dinner.... Thanks for putting something good on the wwweb.

I see an 8000 year old missile offensive between opposing ruling parties vying for the last tribes of humans to do their physical labour.

cats learn human language if you repeat the word to the meow they make, and as far as regional dialects, my two twin brothers, Sasha and Misha, speak very differently from each other, Misha has a Siamese yakity yak and Sasha chuffs like tigers. but each has learned human words and I have learned their words for what they want and we all agree and everyone gets fed, goes to lie down and Sasha demands every evening at 8pm (even with daylight savings change) to be put to Nite nite. that is to be set up in the library with food and treats before retiring for the evening. if you want to learn your cat's language, just take a minute to listen. and you will completely understand the commands. oh and, they're both bi-lingual in human Russian and American English.

and instantly impose the hominid view of proper dental hygiene for every species....I'm guessing that the low sugar and carb diet of a lion will keep decay and cavities at bay.....fear mongering...America at it's Finest....nationalgeographic.....

about every 100 years there comes along a mania for recreating environments in miniature, cabinets of wonders had display spaces that were replica mirrored halls in miniature, and progressed to the 'doll house' with it's miniature environs, I hope this inspires a new generation of creative people, they are amazing artists.

until Science came along and proved the idea of Karma...energy in equals energy out.... your intent drives the outcome of your deeds. do you intend to do harm? then the deed will be a struggle. do you intend to do good for another without need for reward. the deed will be glorious and the benefits will splash back onto you. you don't need someone peeking over your shoulder to punish you for your bad behavior you'll get back what you put out, maybe not immediately or in a way you understand but you are always rewarded for your deeds and actions......watch yourself.

Luis Castellon I too am guilty of taking a camera and pictures, I think what people are more likely to get up about is how other people behave while they're using the Tech, oblivious to their surroundings and other pedestrian traffic, getting upset when ''you're in the way''....I have one of those here in the house with me.....

what's not discussed is the variety of dinosaurs. the proto-avian T-rex and two legged uprights, and the four legged sauropods that evolved into reptiles and the proto-mammals. Favorable Conditions made for the various evolutionary tracks, some continued, some didn't. so now we have birds that survived from the proto-avian dinosaurs. think big chickens, Really Bigg Chickens.

I see repressed self expression in the guise of 'wild dance and devotion to a deity' closets are prisons, and you will never be happy until you can completely accept yourself

Johnny Batz yes, I did watch the video, and I still feel the same, if someone does not want their photo taken. leave it.

***** perhaps when you've read a few dozen books on art history and sculpture over the course of 30 years, you'll learn how to properly spell and understand what I put up...until then........

isn't that the whole point of getting out in Nature is to divorce yourself from Tech and the Wwweb? if you're dragging your devices with you into Nature, you might as well sit on your balcony or backyard, because you're not doing yourself or anyone else any good. Unplug in National Parks. Hang Up and Drive. TXT n DRV TXT n DIE

how do we know we're not part of the planetary process? our ''pollution'' and ''damage'' are all part of the planetary evolution to other forms of life. what if we are making the world uninhabitable for the current load of species, others will evolve up and survive and life will continue on Earth, not as we know or expect it ...250 years out of 3 million out of 4.5 billion isn't a whole lot of time to inflict a large amount of damage to a planet, we only think we've really mucked things up, what if the muck and radiation are all part of the plan?....

I share in your sadness of the loss of species on our provider planet, the thought was only a thinking point, not an actual belief. we must do our part to gently touch upon our provider planet and pass quietly back to the dust from which we are wrought, hopefully leaving it a better place than what we found. Peace Be With You.

you can't reverse what's happening, but like our primordial ancestors we will adapt. many may parish, most will survive, the world doesn't stand still because we like it to stay the same, it's changing constantly, and so should we.

Zimbabwe Africa is notoriously , Warm. so a shady 87F is going to feel cool, especially when it's near 100F outside. moving air also cools, so if the air in the building is always moving it can cool, too. but 87 is 90 hot degrees, I don't care what country you come from.

it's like the audio version of the 1958 Encyclopedia Britannica a lot of information but we have a much deeper understanding of 'Mesopotamia' , it's not the ''BirthPlace of Civilization'' it is one of several points on the globe that were developing into societies at the time, Indus Valley, Tigris/Euphrates, Nile, upper Amazon basin and Central America, Mekong and Yellow River areas. crowd control communication came out of the caves and into constructed communities created for species survival, The Ruling Class.

a troglodyte is someone that chooses to remain intentionally ignorant Louisiana so it seems is populated by troglodytes, given the evidence that their ''lands'' will no longer be land for very soon, they continue to battle the sea back thinking it will stay away. Google King Knut, and his futility of battling the sea
