  1. how do we know we're not part of the planetary process? our ''pollution'' and ''damage'' are all part of the planetary evolution to other forms of life. what if we are making the world uninhabitable for the current load of species, others will evolve up and survive and life will continue on Earth, not as we know or expect it ...250 years out of 3 million out of 4.5 billion isn't a whole lot of time to inflict a large amount of damage to a planet, we only think we've really mucked things up, what if the muck and radiation are all part of the plan?....

I share in your sadness of the loss of species on our provider planet, the thought was only a thinking point, not an actual belief. we must do our part to gently touch upon our provider planet and pass quietly back to the dust from which we are wrought, hopefully leaving it a better place than what we found.
