  1. my parents were in the military, when they were'n't fighting they were yelling at my sister and I , when they split we rarely saw our mother, even though we lived with her, my father would take us for overnight visits a couple of times a month at most, my mother worked and would go out after work until well after my sister and I had fed ourselves dinner and put ourselves to bed, early on I would leave my sister with a babysitter and I would walk to school alone because we lived on the outskirts of my school's district, I was teased and taunted by the other children because I was obviously effeminate and did not play sports, I was verbally abused by my father and regularly threatened with physical violence, but when i was old enough I left, I got out, and I discovered a great big world out there that isn't what I came from but a better place with good people that do care and do love and can teach you how to accept the gift that is Life. and yet I never wanted to torture anyone, I never wanted to kill my parents or siblings, I abhor violence of any kind to this day. so ''raising yourself'' is a bullshit excuse for any kind of bad behavior.
