  1. I don’t know why you’d declare q pointluess and then commission something to replace qu. Either just use kw in the first place or repurpose q to imply the u. Personally I’d keep consonants and vowels separate. What’s so special about qu that it gets it’s own symbol? The reason why some Asian languages have so many characters is because they often combine vowels and consonants rather than keeping them separate.
