  3. ***** What Progressive Democrats are is LAZY as shit. This election is now proof of what the Supreme right-wing Court did when they said that "Corporations are People" and can contribute any amount of money hence "Citizens United" which should be "Corporations United" because that's what it really is. Our own Supreme Court went against "We the People", our constitution. This election proved one thing and that is we are now an oligarchic regime and that's what the Republicans want more than anything. Why, you ask? Because they've been bought off. Getting back to the flagrant loss by the Democrats, expect hardships to follow and I mean real hardships and poverty to rise. The Republican's play a great game but that's all it is and it will come at a great price for all those that are struggling now. Thank goodness I live in Connecticut, a blue state right in the heart of blue country, the northeast. I had the mind, the solace  and the fortitude to disregard all the shit political ads on television and voted the Democratic ticket all the way baby and every one of them I voted for won. That's how it is done. You vote which is the least civic thing you can do. But no, in this country, roughly 60% of registered voters stayed home. If these people lived in Australia, they would have been fined. Repeated offenders would serve prison time. Finally, this IMO is the most stupid country in the entire world, when it comes to voting and how the process takes place. I feel the whole thing is corrupt right down to its core. That also is the same for our corrupt rich people and corporations for they now own us all. So much for your constitution bud. I will forever be a proud progressive and if Jesus ever existed and were alive today, he would be as well.

  4. ***** That's just it adasand, I am progressive and I'm just spouting off because I took the time to vote but nationally speaking, only about a third of registered voters voted. That's why I said they are lazy as shit. I cannot believe we have now trended hard right in the Senate now. So far they've taken 8 seats. What does that say? Well at least I live in a blue state, Connecticut, and I voted the Dem ticket and all won. I only lost on a question vote something about voting, can't remember now.
