  1. It all comes down to voter turnout, not about the message. While the message is very important, what good is it when those that agree with you don't turn out the vote? Those who support the Democrat Party, in this last election, were just plain lazy and didn't care and you can't ever get through that kind of mindset. I always say there are 2 things that you can do to make a difference in this country. One: Join the military and serve your country. I am one who thinks if you haven't served, then, to me, you are not an American but rather just someone who was born in America. And Two: Vote, damn it. Vote every 2 years without any excuses. It's the least civic thing you can do. When you vote, you make a difference and you send a message. 2/3 of the American people in this last election did not make a difference and that is one sad statement.

  2. If you lived in Australia, you MUST put in military service time. I believe the UK is the same, not sure.. You don't question whether a war is legal or not, that's up to the politicians and it's usually for a reason and to keep our country and allies safe. Just you wait, some day, when they bring the draft back, as I think they should. They had it in my days, which was the early 1970's. Join or get drafted. Those will be your only choices unless your number is so high it sets you free from serving. I served regardless.

  3. LacusTheDestroyer Perhaps not the US, but it's our allies that we must defend. Besides, if everything falls apart, let's say Russia presses on with obtaining the Ukraine, the middle east totally falls apart, Israel is under attack from Iran, and all of this is happening at the same time, we would need more than just enlistees. The draft argument must be open and possibly re-enacted. Whatever. You think what you want to think. I wish there was no war but that's not nor will ever be the real world. History repeats and we must be ready for it.
