  1. Lack of rain also has an impact on these fires going awry. Here in Connecticut, we've had the hottest summer ever with very little rain. Currently we are -8 inches in total rainfall this year. Many farmers had to plow under the broad leaf tobacco used in the making of cigar wrappers. Vegetable plants have also dried up and died. The kernels on the corn are a joke. It's been all bad. Personally, I don't think global warming will ever be fixed. Besides, small steps to fixing this global problem too late to undo what man has done.
