  1. The airplane pictured at 2 hours and 4 minutes is not a A6M. Just goes to show how easy it was for the aircraft to be miss identified.

  2. Tin-cans lacking much damage control? USN destroyers and escort destroyers had quite a bit of damage control design / redundancy built-in. See Battle off Samar, where ships dead-in the water were able to resume the fight. Consider: destroyers had to last long enough against anti-torpedo boat fire to get close for a torpedo attack against capital ship.

  3. I like how Her Majesty's government instructs the Admiral to protect human life by not damaging private property. I guess that means humans on public property were fair game
