I've found his remarks about corruption in institutions and governance in Russia strikingly similar to what's going on in the USA now and more particularly the USA roll destroying institutions of governance on a worldwide scale. Similarly the way the elite running the USA attacks, cripples, jails, or murders figures it opposes. I'm not referring to the puppet stick figures of Trump or Obama or Clinton or even the Bush family. Rather it's the elite people grown in such institutions as the CIA, FBI, many of the Ivy League schools who actually run things. They no longer run them in part for the general good but for their own interest 100%.

  5. 1:15 Oh my God, the American Revolution was about first taxes and second that the UK was heading towards an anti-slavery position, both of which would have been detrimental to the Elites in America. This historian even starts explaining the imperfection of the American system not by referring to slavery but by referring to the fact that those who did not own sufficient property were barred from voting. Definitely a Hoover Institution guy

  6. I think Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton all are Boss Tweed*s illegitimate children. There was a similar more incompetent set of Tweed children at the Rupoblican party. Incompetent because they lost control to Trump. But never fear the permanent state got him back under the leash. That permanent state is the institution that Hoover Institute"s Stephen Kotkin supports, he too is a functionary of the false democracy power preservatives for a rotten elite.
