  11. Listing Facebook, Google and Amazon as clients, Cox Media Group (CMG) recently caused controversy when a pitch deck for prospective customers was made public. Included in the deck was a service called “Active Listening” that CMG boasted would, "capture real-time intent data by listening to our conversations". All three major tech companies were quick to distance themselves from CMG after the pitch deck was publicised, with Amazon and Meta claiming they do not participate in the “Active Listening” program and Google simply removing CMG from their Partner Program website.

  12. Google is being sued in the US over accusations it deceived people about how to control location tracking. The legal action refers to a widely reported 2018 revelation turning off one location-tracking setting in its apps was insufficient to fully disable the feature. It accuses Google of using so-called dark patterns, marketing techniques that deliberately confuse.

I will have to find the link off my desktop later and then get the terms because Google will block posting the link, however at one of the hacker conferences about 9 years ago that the US government is already inserted backdoors into chipsets on not just cell phones or computers but even for switchgear.

Hi Rob, earlier mintpress did an expose on the Israeli control of anti-spam and also on anti-viral email filtering software which of obviously needs to have access to encrypted email so anyone who's using similar Services is basically turning their information over to Israel and then on too many other governments
