@TankUni And it would take a huge thought leap to think that some pieces of charcoal in some mortar could give us any estimate for the dates of when the rocks were put in place. Also scientists should be saying this first and foremost instead of misrepresenting themselves as having measured the age of rocks and waiting for someone to catch them. This is why people don't believe Science anymore. You're always chasing the best headlines.

" It makes people think you were dating things directly. Only when confronted do you admit the dating is extremely indirect and hinges on several assumptions. This is dishonest. It makes scientists seem like making fantastical headlines just to gather attention and decreases their trustworthiness.

@gunide He thinks Irish and Scottish people are "Celts" just because they speak "a Celtic language". Although of course he doesn't extend the same rule to call Iberians "Romans" just because "they speak a Romance language".
