  1. Latium (< *Latiom) is most certainly related to "latus" and simply means "flatland". It is as if we had the word Flattium.

What are your sources for that? There was never any "Celtic" people infiltrating Iberia, rather a Steppe-admixed people infiltrated Iberia in 2,500 and "Celtic" arose in western Iberia naturally over the course of the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age.
