  2. I know people have suffered major losses but I cant understand why they are throwing everything out instead of cleaning some of it up.. like records.. because they got wet?? Wooden and plastic chairs and tables - because they are wet and dirty.. they will dry and you can sand them down? and it goes on. If someone was upcycling they would go to a 2nd hand store/op shop, garage sale and buy what those folk are throwing away.. Do the less fortunate/the uninsured who cant afford to throw everything away get to sort through that stuff? Or does it all go to the tip? Just asking the question as I don't live in a flood area or even in that state.. I am sorry for what you have all gone through...

  3. Why do the reporters need to stand in the rain and report.. does it make the story more dramatic??? Especially with a microphone in their hands...We all know its raining so take shelter guys.. seriously!! My heart goes out to everyone especially those in Lismore after what you have already been through.. maybe time to look at living somewhere a bit dryer?? Stay safe.. keep dry.. cheers from WA

  4. I watched this reporter earlier today and she was also irresponsible standing in what looked like the middle of the road.. why is there any necessity to be anywhere near the road..??? And why hasn't the power been turned off for safety.. bugger people being able to watch TV or use a computer...safety first!!!!!
