  2. John Garrison No I disagree. The inputs into a nuclear energy plant may break even at best after 40 years when the plant needs to decommissioned. Additionally, if taking the energy of the 60 year decommissioning, waste storage , then no it is NOT carbon neutral. A better way is solar panels on just 0.6% of Continental surface area would provide plenty of power especially if installed in the Southwest. Also there is space based solar power too.
