The problem is that there is a cultural aspect to morality, if people are raised in a culture where these things are considered okay, then they wont suddenly change their whole worldview when they move to a different country. So of course the ones you meet in EU countries will still share this worldview. Its one of the things that define their culture. If they didnt have that, then they would just be like other European people. But they want to be different and hold on to this imperalistic worldview instead of just being a normal country in Europe.

I had to look this guy up because I had no idea who he is. Apparently its some computer science tech bro who started a podcast a few years ago. Okay, I can see on wikipedia that he has a PhD. Read his thesis. Its literally about the same topic I did a project on in a few weeks when I was a 3rd year Bachelors student. He got a PhD for that. I dont know how, but at my uni you wouldnt get a PhD for that paper. Maybe barely graduate your Bsc with a low grade. I can confidently tell you that this guy is indeed not very smart. If he struggles to do research in the field he graduated in, imagine how clueless he is about anything else.

@SiimKoger You should read his thesis, its basically something I did as a 3rd year bachelors student and he got a phd for that. Obviously failed upward result of nepotism and possible bribery, Im pretty sure you need to pay a university a lot of money to get something of that quality approved. He also only thanked his professor and his parents in it. Dude apparently didnt work in a research team doing research for his PhD? Just wrote a meta-analysis of existing research, copy pasted some code together and called it a day. I dont know whats worse, the option that he wrote it himself or the option he didnt even bother to do that. Of course, to actually be a tech bro you need to be good at your job and write code that makes you money, so he decided to just use daddy's connections to become a podcaster instead. Continuing the trend of failing upward in the world with daddy's help. This type of people disgusts me and I have no idea why anyone would want to listen to this dude talk.

Had to look up who this Fridman is. He's a tech bro with a podcast. Read his thesis. I dont get how you can get a degree in computer science with that amount of work. He got a PhD for something that a third year Bachelors student should be able to build in a few months time. In fact, I did build something similar around that time. This is not some genius thinker who should be having opinions on complex issues, he is barely capable of doing the job he studied several years for.

They used to have a nice buffer zone with Finland, Sweden, Belarus and Ukraine in between them and NATO countries. There were no talks of any of those countries even considering applying to NATO. Apparently that was not an acceptable situation for the regime.

Maybe go outside or get some therapy, being in a parasocial relationship with some tech bro podcaster and adressing him with his first name when he doesnt even know you exist, its not healthy. Also that guys an idiot, I read his thesis, its very average, something any computer science student can do in a few weeks, that you definitely dont need a PhD for.

@MrTacosBD Do they, though? I think they dont. I think they love their shiny toys and love trying them out on other people. I think they love making a lot of money on massively profitable defense contracts, which coincidentally, they decide which companies to award the contracts to. I dont think they love their own country, otherwise, you'd think they would be trying a bit harder to run it properly.

Looks like a typical rich daddy fail upward i wanna be a tech bro but not having any talent so he started a podcast and used daddy's connection to get guests to again fail upward. @TheGermanFabian Having more idiots on your side is not a good thing, no matter what side you are on. No one should want this guy on their team. He would only be a liability and waste a lot of everyone's time talking.
