I'd say 'doom' means fate rather than judgment. Fate in the context of judgment. A doom could also be a prophecy. Oh and 'flumbard(ing)' would literally translate to 'flamebeard(ed)' or 'flame-axe' depending on the germanic root you choose for the word 'bard', either 'barda' or 'barte' which are both probable candidates. Some interesting comparisons to Dutch in this video: 'Hernpan' is still used in Dutch as 'hersenpan' which indeed literally means brain pan, where the pan refers to the encapsulation of the brain including the lid on top. 'Jangler' would translate to 'jongleur' in Dutch, which could be translated to jester, but more likely to juggler, as in an entertainer, someone that performs tricks. 'Spinnandweb' is also highly similar to 'spinnenweb' which just means spiderweb, but the 'spinnand' would mean it translates to 'spinning web'. 'Twifald' is 'twijfeld' in Dutch which is closer than the German 'zweifeln'.

@evefreyasyrenathegoddessev4016 yeah the twifald comparison to german was a bit of a miss. also, if youre still interested, flumbard probably means 'firebeard', bard being a shortered version of 'barda', beard in english. alternatively it could be derived from 'barte' which means axe but that makes a bit less sense. good luck with your study of dutch. 8000 words down, about a million to go :P
