  2.  @vlad-dracul  Thats not the worst theory, there are a lot of good reasons to believe the flood myth from bronze age civilisations is about the flooding of the black sea which was cut off from mediterranean for a long time at a lower sea level. There are ruins at over 30m below current sea level along the black sea coast from civlisations from that period. At some point the land barrier between mediterranean and black sea broke through and the lake which was at a much lower water level was flooded. To people living back then that must have been the literal end of the world.
