@rondolo1 classic. -men can take care of themselves, living with one doesnt mean you have to work for him. he maybe just rather does the dishes once every 3 days instead of 3 times a day because its more time efficient and he doesnt care about having a clean kitchen counter all the time -i can survive for months on only protein shakes and vitamin pills. fruit smoothies are full of sugar and expensive. -doing laundry is very little work, men invented machines to do it for you -making your bed every morning results in more bed bugs, its actually unhygienic -clothes are still clothes if theyre in a laundry basket, again this doesnt matter and you can spend your time more efficiently than folding socks -the reason people cant live on one salary anymore is that women entered the workforce and halved the value of labor -most people in current times do split the house chores, i know zero couples that dont, the women just like to complain about having to do more when they contribute about half the effort

@StratumPress i choose people to spend time with based on their character, not on their use. i have a job and i make enough money to take care of myself, if i become unemployed i dont need connections because im an engineer so i can get a job in 2 weeks at the same salary unless theres a major economic crisis going on. i dont need other people. i want meaningful social interactions with people i like. if you need to judge other people on utility, that means you dont have enough utility to be selfsufficient. which i would argue goes for a lot of people these days.
