  1. Tech bros can make 200-300K a year and have plenty to support someone in that way. Most of us tech guys are a bit awkward around chicks as well so its a good deal for them to get some by paying for it in that way. Of course, I wouldnt go for that, I like having self respect and I wouldnt want to have what is basically an expensive pro living in my house. I can get a better deal on that service without all the hassle. But I get that some guys that are down real bad would consider it an option.

  2. Hah I live in the Netherlands and Ive been having to actively (verbally) fight my personal physician to get any referrals for my health problems. Since the coof (had it 3 times) Ive had serious fatigue problems. Im not even able to work full time and havent been able to for 3 years. According to her (of course its a she-doctor) I have PTSS and depression and I need to go see a shrink. I got some blood work done but she said it was all fine so I need to go make another appointment and piss her off enough that she gives up trying to argue with me and gives me the test results so I can go check the values myself. Btw I am by law allowed to request my test results but I already know its gonna be a fight to get her to press the print button on the computer. The entire healthcare system in this country is just designed to deny men care to drive costs down. You can be having a heart attack and theyll tell you to take an ibuprofen.

  3. Sure thats a statistic, but considering how many people arent virgins before marriage, that means a lot of girls that lost their virginity to their first boyfriend ended up leaving him. So the odds of a succesful marriage even if you meet a virgin by magical chance are still extremely low.

I didnt go to university to study a real degree and worked my ass off for my entire life since I was 13 years old and got my first paper round for miss sociology degree to boss me around in my own house that I pay for. Hell no. I watched them do that to my father and my uncles and my grandfathers and every other older guy I know. My house, my rules, if you got a problem, pay for your own place.

  7. Back then you could buy a house for 2 years gross wage on a normal salary. Sure, the interest on the mortgage was high, but you could pay it off pretty quick. If I want to buy an average house, its gonna set me back half a million. I make a lot more than a normal wage, but I cant even afford to get a mortgage, and I would be spending decades paying it off. I didnt grow up a free man in a free country to voluntarily enter into literal serfdom to a bank. Emigration is the only solution. I just need a little more time to develop my career, then I can work fully remotely and I can move to some second world country and buy a soviet era flat for an acceptable price.

  12. ​ @callak_9974  Happened to me last year, met her in october and broke up with me over text in may. Just to have someone to get through the winter. Well, could have been worse, she couldve wasted more of my time. And we did have a lot of fun. Had to threaten to have her deported to get back the money I lent her. It was a couple hundred bucks, Im not stupid, its not a big deal. I just saw it as a payment for services rendered and she was quite cheap by the hour if you look at it that way. I wouldve let her keep it too if she was civil about the breakup. But she wasnt, and boy it felt good to see that number back in my bank account. Recompense for my wasted time. And I know it hurt her to have to loan that money from somewhere else. Karma is a B. Havent been looking to date since, Im gonna take a while to recover from this failed attempt before I ever decide to trust one again. If ever.
