you forgot about a few more important things a housewife would need to do. 1: not get fat. 2: sex on demand for the husband. 3: stay loyal and dont cheat. now do you see why these women dont want to be housewives?

yeah there was this situation where 2 people would live in a house together and split chores and bills so they didnt have to work their asses off fulltime just to pay the rent. those people could even get this thing called a "mortgage" so they wouldnt have to pay rent their whole lives. and go on these trips called "vacations" where you just dont work for a couple weeks and play with your kids. crazy times.

If a business starts hiring too many women, I just quit preemptively. Im already paying plenty of taxes to the government while women get tax breaks. Im not going to subsidize their wages even more.

I work from home in IT and i work max 2 hours per day. average probably less. if i have 2 hours of meetings on a day, i do nothing else that day on purpose. to punish people for forcing me to attend useless meetings. after doing the bare minimum, i go to the beach, or i start preparing for dinner, watch youtube videos, jerk off and play video games. i always hit my productivity targets and every company ive worked for says im a great employee. we live in clown world my friend.

@edited1325 i will tell you something better. since november last year i have worked 3 months in total. i got covid and had long term side effects. couldnt lift a finger for a while. got paid to sleep and watch youtube videos at home. after about half a year, i got back to work. but the company subcontracting me had one asshole of a manager who decided to get rid of me after investing 10K per month for 3 months to get me up to speed. now ive been chilling at home for about 6 weeks and i am confident i will habe a new gig lined up where i can pretend to work for a 10-20% pay raise by the first of october. you just gotta say fuck it and play the game. everyone else is playing.

@edited1325 if you take a look at labour productivity increases, inflation, and actual wage growth, thats a perfect reason to lay flat. 30 years ago my dad made the same amount of money i do now, doing the same work in the same sector. back then a house in western europe cost about 50K US dollars. the official inflation figures are around 100% in total for the past 30 years. labour productivity is 3x what it was back then due to automation. so, i should be making at least 6x what my dad made to account for inflation and labour productivity increase. but i dont make 25-30K a month. i make the same my dad got 30 years ago. so i work 1/6th as hard. ezpz. and im still a model employee according to all my supervisors except that one D-head who fired me. never been fired before in my life. even he had to admit that my performance wasnt the issue. it was "communication problems" aka he didnt like me.

@Frostknight231 I mean if they do have a problem with it I can get a new job faster than they can replace me so I dont have to care. I switched jobs a couple times the past two years and now I have a nice gig as a lead developer on a project I basically get to run by myself and I have one scheduled meeting per week with the owners of the company. They have better things to do than bust my ass and Im excitwd about this project so I work exactly as much as I want and they are fine with it as long as I stick to the schedule that I wrote. Its not like they understand what I do anyway. They just know how much money Im going to make them.

its reality for me, im a software engineer and i work max 2 hours per day. i hit all my productivity targets, so i know my colleagues are doing the same thing lol. ive never worked for a tech company that actually checks in how many hours youre making. you just gotta get the tickets done youre assigned every week. if you have 3 brain cells to rub together you dont need to work fulltime to get that done. no one cares either. management doesnt care as long as your team hits productivity targets. team members arent going to call each other out for slacking.

@kylemendoza8860 well yes, i make more than most people so i pay a higher progressive tax rate, and depending on which state or country you are in, people with lower incomes can get a lot of subsidies for example for healthcare, rent assistance, and of course if you have children you also get free money from the government in a lot of places. being a single mother and working parttime is a viable career option in a lot of places. i dont qualify for any of those subsidies because i have a career and work fulltime. im considering just lying flat and working parttime so i can get free money too. unfortunately i dont have a uterus so i will still get less money than women. to be clear if a woman works the same amount of hours as i do, doesnt have kids, and makes the same amount of money, they get taxed the same. but im in the top 10% of earners in my age group and i can tell you that top 10% is 99% male. there are no women my age that earn my kinda money. there are some older women in mgmt positions that earn more, but that takes time to build. engineering already pays well in your 20s.

I can confirm women in IT dont work for shit. I work max 2 hours per day and I hit my productivity targets, they just attend meetings and thats it.

@nazgullinux6601 if youre certified in a trade you can easily make 60-100 per hour if you start for yourself, idk what youre talking about but i know guys earning that much and they just do plumbing, electrics, one of them builds staircases for a living and earns more than me. im a software engineer with 5 years work experience.
