@marklittle8805 im still a young guy, late twenties, but im doing alright, have a decent career in tech. i live in a 4 bedroom house that my family owns, i pay rent for it that goes to the family, not to some landlord. when my parents die ill get close to being a millionaire just by inheriting real estate.
but, i dont spend money on flashy cars, rolex watches, armani suits. i have fashionable clothes but nothing very fancy. i dont even own a car because my area has functional public transport. i take the bus to work when i have to go to the office and work from home most days.
women dont give me the light of day. guess ill just keep saving and investing the money i make until i can afford to buy the house from my family, or emigrate in a couple years when i can transition to working fully remote. i have a nice investment fund thats growing well into 6 figures. it doesnt matter to women how much money you make, or how much you have, or how much your family has, what matters is how much you are going to spend on their lifestyle on the short term.
the way its looking i probably will never get married or have children in my home country.

yeah the volunteering is a big thing. my grandmother was a housewife, she did stuff for the community, for example cleaned old peoples houses, for a modest compensation. my grandfather after he retired volunteered at church, he even preached sometimes, and he had a home office where he did some banking for the local community.
this was back when people would get their pay in cash at the end of every week, they deposited the money they wanted to save with him, he did the accounting, kept the money in a wall safe, and every once in a while someone from the bank would come collect.
its not like not having to work means sitting around the house all day. if i dont have to work for a while, because my contract is up and i dont have a new gig lined up yet, i volunteer at a local art gallery or whatever, or get a parttime second job bartending. its boring just being at home doing nothing.
if i ever get married, my wife wont have to work, but i will expect her to do volunteer work or get a low-stress part time job just to have something to do besides sit at home and pop out babies. people get cabin fever if they dont have anything to do outside the house.

you can live ona single income, but you have to make some specific choices. for example, move to a rural area with lower rent/housing prices, cheaper groceries, and work a remote job for a tech company in a city that pays city wages. or start your own business.
but you have to spend a decade at least developing a specific skillset to be able to do that, while the women in your age group go clubbing and shopping and rack up debt and body count.
so you'll get to the goalpoast, late 20s, early 30s, if you dedicate your entire adult life to this purpose and get lucky, and what are the women that are available there? entitled, rude, immature, loose women with tats and piercings who are unfit for marriage. its not like theres goodlooking 20 year old women there who can keep their legs together and were raised properly by their parents.
