Its a shame. I had the reaction time and hand eye coordination to be a fighter pilot. Or maybe I couldve been in an engineer corps. Oh well. At least I didnt shoot anyone who didnt deserve it.

I make the same as my dad did thirty years ago and my dollar is worth less than half of his. The crumbling isn't just starting to show. It's nearly finished.

  15. Besides the physical and psychological aspect you mentioned, there is a third big reason. People get horny. Having F's on military, and especially in the navy. Well. Best case they will be a distraction. Worst case theyre selling themselves (or being sold) to the highest bidder. Or causing fights.

  18.  @ottmatl  Its not just the military. Try getting promoted at a private business as a white guy. They all have targets and quota now. Every couple years I have to leave and get a new job because the company I work for hires too many chicks and gives them the cushy jobs. And then they magically start losing their high quality employees and the profit margin disappears. Geeze I wonder how that could happen.

I have worked for electric companies and it ain pretty Now with ev's and solar panels and all that, power companies are really struggling to distribute load and supply. The tech isn't ready for decentralized power generation. I worked on those computer systems. You're screwed. Buy a diesel generator. Install a salt water battery in your basement.
