@coltonsmith3270 sure i can, i spend about 10 a day in food and drinks, cook at home, and then i have 200 left to buy clothing or tickets for a show or whatever.
once a year i order a bunch of herbs from a wholesaler so i dont pay retail price for those.
i dont have a gym membership, i exercise outside and have some weights at home.
i also buy protein powder and vitamin supplements in bulk, so my breakfast costs me about 3 bucks a week.
i dont buy bread or cheese or meat in grocery stores because its too expensive, i buy meat from wholesalers as well and buy cheese on the local market. for reference i pay about 5 bucks for a pound of quality gouda cheese.
oh and i buy a pack of cigarettes once every 2 weeks and i have a mobile phone subscription of 10 per month and i donate a bit of money to charity.
then i pay my rent and get to save about 50% of my monthly income.
if i had a relationship i probably wouldnt be able to save much at all because women think my lifestyle is way too cheap without fancy restaurants, weekend city trips, vacations to exotic islands, etc etc, but i really dont care about that stuff. why would i fly to bali when i live 5km from the beach already.
if i go out for dinner i order one main course for 20-25 and at most 2 drinks, im not spending 100 on a dinner.
when i order takeaway i get a family box of chinese for 25 bucks and have enough to eat dinner for a week.
everywhere i look, i really dont see anything that i cant save money on, while most people just walk into a grocery store every day, spend 20 bucks per person in their household on overpriced stuff, and then complain about inflation.
last year i found a turkish tailor who sold me 2 tailored suits for 150 bucks. they fit great and the quality of the fabric is very good. similar quality as paying 1500 bucks for an overpriced armani suit.
