@CR67 oil money in that type of regime generally doesnt benefit the people much, history has shown. the only small exception is the arab oil states who give big benefits to the citizens, if you disregard all the slave labor they use to make that possible.

@apocalypticachmodio weird because in my country there are plenty of moroccans, tunisians, algerians, etc, and we have several universities high up on the global rankings that have programs that arent taught anywhere else. let me ask my brother next time i see him if he ever met a libyan student.

Very bad take. Gadhaffi was a war criminal. He was responsible for the terrorist attack at Lockerbie. He was tortured and killed by Libyan militias. Because like a lot of dictators he lived like a king in his palaces while people starved. So they got rid of him. The west had minimal involvement in the Arab spring. This entire video is just s bunch of anti western conspiracy nonsense that you typically see from Russian and Chinese media outlets.
