@finkamain1621 most of the current generation of actors is a lot worse at acting than the actors of the 70s era. modern actors dont have any range, they usually play the same character over and over again or theyre just an expressionless plank of wood. compare carrie fisher to daisey ridley or any of the male action movie guys to i dont know, charles bronson or martin sheen or clint eastwood. modern actors are selected only for how pretty they look, not for their acting chops.

@samuelevans5750 its mostly the fault of our absent parents, the disney corporation, and the general lack of hardship and adversity most people experience causing them to remain immature and lead pointless hedonistic lives. i mean we are in the middle of a climate crisis, pandemic, economic crisis and all most people want to do is get drunk and party.

@wcstrawberryfields not necessarily, i played a lot of video games when i was a kid. i also watched a lot of national geographic channel back when they broadcast documentaries and i love reading about history. the problem isnt video games, the problem is that most people are stupid and lazy.

@jasonarthurs3885 how many awards a person gets doesnt influence how good they are at their job. youre confusing popularity with talent. common mistake these days. there are 10x more talented actresses out there but those dont get awards because theyre not as goodlooking.

@jasonarthurs3885 ive watched a lot of movies made in the 20th century, with people that could actually act. modern hollywood actors suck donkey balls compared to the actors of the 60s and 70s. instead of clint eastwood we now have chris pratt. but it doesnt matter how bad he is as long as he works out and gets some abs and gets a role in a marvel movie. its all superficial nonsense these days. if you think charlize theron is a good actress i suggest you go watch some old movies with decent actresses in them so that you can learn to spot the difference.
