@AK-jb9pb Angela didnt say they have to stay permanently...You have some room for interpretation. Look at whats going on in France now. Military officials are warning for very bad no-no things to happen. You have excellent railway infrastructure. Just a tip.

@AK-jb9pb i speak german and i follow the news. she said, "wir schaffen das" referring to a humanitarian crisis. not, "diese leute werden dauerhaft hier bleiben". permanent citizenship wasnt mentioned in 2014. or in 2016. or since.

@MaiAolei i think its weird some people want to change history and say merkel was so awful, just over syria and isis, she was certainly better than schroder, or scholz currently. from holland we always thought schroder was a joke and scholz hasnt done anything i remember except try to delay sending tanks to ukraine. merkel is well regarded here as pragmatic and competent. honestly i think she should have stayed longer.

@suupkalvers2244 its perfectly acceptable to refer to it as holland in english, dont know why you would be upset about that, unless youre a backward provincial hillbilly :P

@suupkalvers2244 i wasnt talking about french civilians. i was talking about french military. military personnel are per definition not civilians. and yes, there is a clear link between what happened in germany in 2014 and what is happening in france now. try to deduce the common factor.
