he still took the money to play Luke again though. bad decision. shouldve stayed retired. he doesnt seem to enjoy being a sellout like harrison ford does.

@pikebasss lmao nice one. although i would say rey is just a mary sue fanfiction character that the female writers that miss kennedy hired wrote as their own wish fulfilment. its interesting that a room full of women cant write a good female character. its almost like being a good writer is more important than someones genitals.

@slevinchannel7589 the grammar is correct im just too lazy to use punctuation on the internet so you can imagine the commas if you want

the irony is that the original movies had a strong female character in Leia thats a lot more interesting than the strong female characters that are in every movie today. and it was made in the 70s. its almost like something went wrong around that time and we've been regressing since.

thats because actually good writers write books or plays or youtube videos instead of hollywood movies tv and movie writers can write cool looking scenes with interesting visuals, they cant write believable characters with arcs and complexity. thats why most succesful movies have source material to provide interesting characters and plots. but these days they even screw up good source material, just look at the hobbit movies or the artemis fowl movie

@glebbokhan9777 Cavill was literally the only good thing about it. the special effects were bad, the witcher song was cringey, the bard is annoying, yennefer is hot i guess but her character doesnt develop further than "jealous witch with sad childhood who murders people" and the timeline mixup is extremely confusing because i havent read the books or played the games so its impossible to follow and compared to other fantasy movies the worldbuilding is really bad and superficial. it never feels like the world is bigger than whatever set or piece of CGI we are looking at. they keep talking about a war and not showing it. he also barely does any witching, it would be 20x better if the first season ws just geralt hunting some monsters with way lower stakes so we can explore the world and his character and then slowly introduce the other characters. but no they just jumbled a bunch of stuff together from different parts of the source material. its honestly one of the worst tv shows i have ever watched a whole season of. wouldve turned it off after the first or second episode if i had been watching it alone.

theres also french movies where people just sit around, talk and it turns out everyone is either sick, dying or in the process of losing a loved one / grieving for one
