its 2022 and you only now got to the point where you dont care about this movie genre anymore? its been straight trash starting with that first iron man movie. every marvel movie is just 90 minutes of brightly colored objects moving on screen and then a big fight with a skybeam and cgi aliens. i really dont get what people ever liked about it.

@joeshlong9614 ive seen about 4 or 5 of them and they are clearly made for and marketed at 10 year old children. cant see how any adult would enjoy that crap.

@joeshlong9614 i do think theyre all shit. i havent enjoyed kids movies since i was 13 years old. marvel movies are like the star wars prequels. they have nice visuals but the stories suck. which is not unfair at all because almost everything that comes out of hollywood in the past 10 years sucks. they just dont have any good writers left, those all quit after the writers strike. even with good source material they cant make good movies anymore. also there arent any good actors left. sure theyre goodlooking but they cant act. chris pratt cant act, downjy jr cant act, ruffalo cant act, i could go on.

@dylansharpe8822 its not just my opinion. american cinema has been in a steady decline for decades. in the 70s hollywood made movies that everyone could enjoy. in the 80s and 90s they made a bunch of crap and some action movies that were pretty good. after 9 11 the quality went down significantly and then there was a writers strike about a decade ago and now they ran outof good scripts and all they do is remakes and adaptations. whens the last time we had a good thriller come out of hollywood like enemy of the state? and that movie had will smith in it who isnt exactly a great actor. im just talking about the writing here. these days they just rely purely on visuals and the actors and writing are trash. youre not going to tell me chris pratt is as good an actor as clint eastwood or charles bronson for example. hes just goodlooking and does a lot of steroids.

@joeshlong9614 the only guy in the entire marvel shitshow that can act is chris hemsworth, but i only know that because i saw other movies he actually tried in, marvel movies are just a commercial for his fitness app for him. and then i havent even mentioned that every male actor in those films is contractually obliged to take steroids which sets unrealistic body standards for young men which is very harmful.
