There are plenty of good indie games and sci fi movies etc. Just look for them. Its like saying pop music and EDM killed the art of making music. You will never be able to "reclaim" the mainstream movie or gaming industry. It was a niche back when we enjoyed it and that niche still exists, it was just moved aside by the mainstream. The best you can do is not consume the mainstream and find things you do enjoy, and pay for them. Dont play Diablo 4, get Torchlight.

@Pandemia-j7v no, normies just saw that the thing they were paying for wasnt as popular anymore, so like rats they leave the sinking ship. they don't care about the structural soundness of the ship, they just see other rats jumping off and they follow. the people who see whats going on, have critical thinking skills, and watch videos like this is maybe 5% of the audience. and thats being generous.
