  1. Mario game didnt need Peach to do anything, but of course when they make a movie it has to have a female main character that is completely unnecessary and doesnt do anything to advance the plot or make the story more interesting.

  3. Call me a cynic, but I have 0 interest in watching some cash grab based on a video game for little kids just because it wasnt made by Disney. I like Mario as a 2 or 3D game, I'm not at all interested in watching Mario play Mario for 90 minutes instead of playing Mario myself. This was about as unnecessary as that Assassins Creed movie.
