@Azmodael Statistically, the uneducated labor in the Netherlands is a minority. There are more people doing specialized work, in the service industry, in offices, in construction, in teaching, etc, than uneducated manual laborers. We automated most of those jobs in the 90s. Its 2024 now.
If you want to work in a pharmacy, or drugstore, selling shampoo and cold medicine, you need an education.
Most of the people we let in from north africa and the middle east do not have and will not get that level of education. They will be welfare recipients, work for the municipal cleaning and gardening service, or work other minimum wage jobs in logistics hubs and supermarkets and the like.
People who make minimum wage are net tax recipients. Importing a minimum wage worker, costs us money.
If we stopped importing unskilled workers, the wages for that kind of work would go up and more native people could make a living doing it.
But that would cost the rich shareholders of multinational businesses money and they dont want that. They want us to be poor.
