Statistically, you were probably right, its rare for a woman to have a first healthy baby much later. If you already had a couple, later conceptions have a bit higher success rate.

I tried mercy. With a few single moms, even. They rejected me. Apparently a house and steady job wasnt good enough. Let them rot. Looking back, they did me a favor when I was down bad, so thank you for your decision, single moms!

Travel the world to date 304s in countries that are 10 years behind the curve. Still sounds like a bad deal to me. This mindset has gone global among the fairer half of humanity thanks to social media. You cant escape it by going to another continent. Unless its a place that doesnt have internet.

If it was just "I want to stay home, take care of the kids, and do the house work while my husband earns a paycheck" that would be a good deal for me. Even if se would only end up spending an hour a day cleaning and then playing with the kids and drinking tea with her friends. If the kids are happy and the house is in order and dinner is on the stove when I get home thats a deal. Unfortunately thats not what they want. Id still end up doing half the cleaning and the kids would be neglected while mommy is watching tiktok on her phone and going shopping.

I remember being on a dating app a few years ago where you could see who looked at your profile. Sure enough, every night the same couple gals would stalk my profile for weeks on end but never respond to a message I sent during the day. I ended up blocking all of them because it felt genuinely creepy, and eventually left that app.

My last ex left me because she was having trouble with her iphone battery and i didnt take her to get it fixed after closing hours on a saturday night when she got to my place hours later than we agreed. Apparently that meant I didnt have enough money to support her. Didnt even understand the concept of 9-5 opening hours for stores.

@morfometa Its not. People for generations worked 40h a week or more, took care of kids and older relatives, kept a household, and still had time to spare in the evenings. Otherwise, we wouldnt be here today to talk about it. And that was back before washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and microwaves existed. These people had to go chop wood to make a fire to wash their clothes on a washboard and dry them with a wringer. While the women worked menial jobs as seamstresses or whatever. So shut it.

@morfometa most countries have access to washing machines now. Maybe if you are from Eritrea you don't. But most people can at least afford one second hand and have electricity. I have a second hand washing machine myself. They aren't expensive.

@morfometa i feel like we are going in circles here. You can get a vacuum cleaner for like thirty bucks. It's not a complex machine. A servo with carbon brushes, a fan, a bag, a hollow stick and an acdc converter. Hell i could build it myself in a day or two. 1960s technology, widely available

@morfometa i have a four bedroom house alone (two beds used regularly) and I spend maybe four hours a week cleaning, doing laundry, etc. Bathroom takes 10 minutes. Changing sheets 5 minutes. Laundry maybe an hour hanging and folding if not less. Vacuuming the whole house 45 minutes at most. Most of it is doing dishes by hand and dusting all the ornaments. I've been doing this for years while working a full-time job an commuting two hours a day and cooking for myself nearly every night. So no it's not that hard.

Reading studies and statistics? Have you talked to a single woman recently? If there is one thing they hate more than, gasp, doing laundry or cooking for a man, its reading about how they are statistically most likely to end up alone, unmarried, without children (minority will end up as single moms) and having to pay rent for a 50m2 apartment the rest of their lives while booking trips to the Sahara desert or Costa Rica once a year to feel alive again.

@tikifreaky5204 I have a problem adding to my number, its much lower than most people my age. But if I mention on a date, that I value someone who practices monogamy, exclusivity, and doest do casual stuff, they run for the hills. You cant blame 90% of men for the choices that 10% of men make, to sleep with hundreds of partners. You can only blame the 10% who do that. You can however blame the 80-90% of the XX chromosome bearers, who decide to put out for that 10% of men, for their own individual decisions in the past. I would never want to sleep with anyone who has done one night stands, friends with benefits, situationships, or any of that nonsense. As such, it is very difficult for me to find someone who has similar values. They all want a guy who racks up the numbers but complain when they are the one who gets dumped. Obviously, statistically, that strategy wont work out for most of them.

@synergy7713 btw you can finish a masters degree at 22, or 23 if it's a two year engineering program, and have an excellent career off the ground makin a top 10% salary in whatever country you live in. Provided of course that your degree has market value.

@synergy7713 okay then become a plumber or electrician or a carpenter or sign up for a tour on sea freight or an oil rig. Make more money than an engineer. Don't even need to go to university. Just have two hands and put your back into it. Do that for a few years as a man, you can afford to have a kid and raise it on one income. No excuses. Women don't have kids because they don't want to. Not because every guy is broke.

People got around for millennia with reusable cloth diapers. But now people cry they can't afford to buy single use ones. Idk maybe don't buy them and wash the crap out like your grandma did?
