  2.  @ShaneHummus  Though chem is really logical and straight forward, I'm pretty terrible with social and interview skills. Lol. I graduated 15 years ago. I tried several places after I graduated but heard many excuses why they couldn't hire me. One of the most common was that I was "over qualified". I finally gave up and eventually found a few IT contract jobs. The best ones were the ones where I didn't have to talk to anyone such as graveyard at a NOC.

  9.  @ShaneHummus  Ah, the first one on your list. What you mentioned about the job openings really is no joke. I have one hell of a time finding a job in this field. Doesn't help that I suck at selling myself. As I mentioned above, the only related job I had was working on contract for NASA for a brief time. The rest of my time, I've just worked in IT. The reason I chose what I chose is because chemistry is really fun and my point in life is to know everything I can about how things work.

  10.  @levibeam100  No problem. I worked in JPL with a team doing gravity research for the planned moon mission. I know it sounds like a job for a physicist but the work wasn't anything that required any specialised education that a chemical engineer couldn't handle. Unfortunately the funding was cut thus that mission never happened.

  17. I have a lot of advanced math classes under my belt. However, I took them over 20 years ago. Can I still transfer in those classes? I also have a very old (2004) outdated CCNA and official training in CCDA (didn't take that test). Can I transfer those out not?
