  17. That is a bit lost lately. It used to be yiu saw these values manifested in places. A small community town hall meeting that is what instilled sense of fairness, community , exercising democracy. That is going by the wayside. As recent as a couple years ago there was this bookeeper serving several small adjoining Midwest communities who got caught syphoning money away. Too much consumerism , self indulgence , and instant gratification are eating away of what used to be core values of the average American. Also, the notion of common good and private is becoming the private supersedes the common. A good example …waterfront properties by the sea. Onto the beach strip.
