@Real_OSHA_Unsafety_Engineer we had them in Brazil, back in the 90’s , for a short while ( I was away then ). With the Brazilian market place you have to setup assembly plants or it won’t work. Nice sturdy car thought. It looks ageless and meant to be repaired without expensive tooling and diagnostic sets.

@mletouutube mining for metals on open pits has far more negative environmental consequences. I guess the lives of Bolivians , Congolese , Afghans , Chileans , are of no consequence to you. And those Apache tribes in Arizona being strip of their reservations because of the copper they sit atop has no consequence to you. And all of that demand for watts on your grid comes out of thin air. But out of your eight l out of your mind , right ? Not on your backyard.

@mletouutube oil is going to be prospected one way or the other. And refined. And distributed. Your cool new EV takes as much plastics as an ICE car. That is a crude by product. It will take a lot more copper than its equivalent ICE vehicle. That is dirty mining. And rare earth minerals. And that lithium from salt brine mines pollutes ground water deposits just as fracked oil does. First Law of Thermodynamics. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be transformed from one form to another. In an isolated system the sum of all forms of energy is constant. It means , in practical terms , your EV car will need energy from some source. The only steady sources of electric energy are Hydropower ( with adverse effects to the environment ), Thermo Power Plants ( coal, natural gas, oil ), or nuclear. Wind and solar are not steady enough for baseline power. Their throughput varies. You want to self justify the money you pluck to buy your shiny new EV, that is your problem. Not mine and certainly not others.

@mletouutube Tesla does not allow independent aftermarket repair shops to handle their vehicles. It is a closed loop racket. And battery recycle is a falacy. It does not work enough on the small scale , there are good reasons to believe it won’t on large scale.

Why in the world an Battery powered Electric Vehicle needs a pedal in the first place ? Who is the idiot that signed off on the design of this monstruosity? No choice of colors , limited cargo bed volume . They are giving way too much money to idiots. On the old days , carmakers executives remained car and truck guys. They need to pull the money off him.
