  1. For those concerned about stretching the dollar… Avoid processed foods. If there is a farmer’s town nearby , that is where you should go in the first place. Medicines won’t make you healthy. Quite the contrary. Sound diets and exercise will improve your health. At last resort , if you must , there are local chain grocers. Most of the apparel sold at Walmart is low quality. It won’t last. It won’t look good after it’s been used. It’s cost x price. The lowest price does not equate to the lowest cost of ownership. That can be extended to housewares. Be frugal about everything else. Americans buy and hoard too much junk. Learn about other cultures. The Dutch, specially around Amsterdam , move mostly around in bikes. That would put you away from those “Retail Power Centers “ where most Walmart stores lease.

  4. It takes a Russian woman , in Babushka years, to confirm publicly , that George W.Bush was a naive and useful idiot. Every other peer of her in the State Department knew, but no one has the balls to tell it all. She did not played nice , as her peers might condescending did so. Straight to the point.   7. I love Angela Merkhel for what she became and represent. But Putin speaking German , and Angela Merkhel being from East Germany , he might’ve sweet talked her and German businesspeople. Got to remember, German agribusiness was seriously vested into Russia . And Germany was hooked into Russian gas.

  8. When you are ill, you have short temper and no patience to play nice. Hence Putin’s treatment to his subordinates. He knows enough how it works , and he no longer contemplates making nice to get things going. He is running out of his own time.
