Tesla is awarded an order for EVs of such magnitude and could not be bothered to include their fast chargers , at least one, at each of their rental yards, as part of the deal. That is what we call “a deal sweetener “ , or “the icing in the cake” And that is the kind of deal that could be extended towards Hertz’s retail customers. Bring the car empty and we will handle it for you. . No surcharges Let Tesla lose potential fleet business from all other rental companies . And while at it, be reminded that the Big Three used to make up their shortfall in year to year sales on fleet sales to car rental companies. Pathetic.
