I am no EV advocate by any means. But Mr Nardella said , “ these startups are not going to make it. “. The video headline writes in bold “ The EVs are not going to make it”. That is a lame clickbait headline, worthy of old fashioned muck racking journalism . Shame on you Fox. And he is not dismissive of EVs , he is just pointing out the broad figures , which translate towards , at least in the US, the benchmarks are way short on making EV adoption by car buyers a compelling one. Good point from him, and again the same old and tired chatter by anchor people.

What he meant was…..EV startups are not going to make it. Not EVs. A few might make , most will fall by the wayside. And as for climate change , well, we all know how these things work. From the same type of people who shouted about the “ The Martians coming to Earth” , and” those Commies are evil and eat children for lunch “. Hype always follow the money. In the process they will blow up some Native American reservation’s sacred grounds for the sake of digging copper, cobalt , and lithium mining pits and polute and enslave land and locals in far flung places we can’t see.

@ArizonaDevil-ep9ux well, the type of construction that you take up , if single home residential , cheap money being gone , is going to cool off. Monst money , I assume, will be on 5x1 infills , for rental units. , and at those you will have to work under a developer with access to money. And these types will pay you a much smaller share.

There is no future in retail,which is a shame. There are people out there who rather browse before they buy. And with the e-tailing scans out there. As for being a facilities coordinator , try getting a job as a super in these new 5x1 s.

@ArizonaDevil-ep9ux well good. But it pays to explore other ways to be employable. There are more Multi Tenant Units out there than Industrial . And Government procurement has its ebbs and flows.

Well, if there is a problem to be solved , then there must be a solution out there. The problem with the EVs are not the batteries. The manufacturers are the problem. They won’t allow the car owner to seek a battery skate that replaces the faded one, or the creation of an aftermarket for batteries. Most of these vehicles are going to be solid from the chassis up. Hence they should outlast one, two , three skates. The software is the grip that seizes the car and make aftermarket swaps impossible. In a way , it is similar with teiecomunications equipment. You don’t have an activation code , your chassis won’t work. Even if all components ( backplan , boards , CPU ) are OEM. Lucent , Nortel and others used to sell those Digital Central Office Switching exchanges , minus peripherals , for well over USD 3 million. I like what NIO does ( battery swap ) , but even then , it is not feasible in a large scale setting. I also do like what some Indy installers in California do. They take up VW Beetles and Vans and electrify those vehicles. The Van is even better , as it has a higher Center of Gravity which makes it prone to roll overs. The skate , in part, solves the stability problem. And the rear engine compartment is perfect for the electrical motor. But I am digressing.
