  2.  @tonespeaks  lithium around everywhere. …, Afghanistan, Chile, Australia , Argentina , Bolivia , parts of the USA. All known and documented reserves. This is not everywhere. And then there is additional need for cobalt , copper. Again, not everywhere. Just alone in those metals , you have exploding commodity prices. Limited known supply against soaring demand. Toyota sells cars the world over. Reliability is a given. No BEV car brand can offer that. Specially in places where charging infrastructure is non existent. Which is pretty much 3/4 where the world population lives. Outside a limited geography in North America, Asia and Europe , BEVs are a no go.

  3.  @CrackBabyZaches  you can always leave the reservation . There are places in the world where you will drive an ICE car , own a home. Or leaving the cream puff in the driveway and taking public transportation.

  4. They should’ve stick with BEV delivery vans where it makes economical sense for fleet buyers. And Amazon as their bankroll. Anyone who depends on a truck for a living , needs reliability BEVs can’t match. That buyer can opt for a hybrid truck if spyraling fuel costs are a factor into the buying decision making. Therefore , their adresseable market is limited to consumers who can afford a luxury vehicle but would rather drive a truck or SUV. A very miniscule market at that. On taking fleet orders they would have a predictable book of business, limit production costs , limit overhead , and avoid the cost of servicing retail customers on after sale issues. History is filled with makers of great products who went bankrupt. Luxury carmaker brands are only standing as they have a track record , dealerships to service their clientele, perceived brand value. Going through cash in a period of higher cost of money, their C suite will have to dance a lot to get into new money.

If one can’t prove the parents direct involvement in the holding and subsidiaries , or overseeing duties such as having a seat as non executive directors , then you have no case against the parents.
