  1.  @TELEVISIONARCHIVES  folks voted Reagan in because they had enough of Jimmy Carter. The Malaise speech. Inflation. Little they knew what they voted for, but at the time they realized it was too late. And Reagan had charisma. Jimmy Carter , in principle , was right , but voters wanted none of his medicine. And he had zero charisma.
