  1. Reagan and Clinton had what we call Charisma. Folks were tired of inflation , Jimmy Carter’s preaching morality over the TV. The days Unions carried the ballot for their candidates is over. And your voted candidates might take your money , yet both sides os the isle dial from the same dollar.

  2. Warehousing people with mental illness might not be the answer to their problems , but neither was to cut funding to those existing facilities. So they justified one action by pursuing the wrong course or lack thereoff. So from Ward of the State to burden of municipalities seemed to be the unintended consequence.

  4. Don’t blame Reagan for your ills. He gave you exactly what you wanted without you having to pay for it while the good times rolled. You wanted Jimmy Carter out. You got it. You wanted de regulated industries. It started out with Jimmy Carter. You thought Union bosses were corrupt. The Gimpy did the dirty work for you. You wanted to profit in the equity and bond markets , you had it. You applied for that well paying job with a defense contractor , they hired you. Americans got their slice of instant gratification pie. Now it is time to pay the piper.

  6. Most people who voted for Trump could not associate the similarity with Reagan. You have to walk through the succession of presidents since Reagan to dissect the decline. Clinton commited an assault of civil liberties( habeas corpus ) , signed off on NAFTA ( architected during Bush ) , invited Chinese businessmen to the White House , his secretary of commerce “commited suicide “. Obama deported illegal aliens by the thousands ( now you know why your produce has gotten more expensive, Trump just nailed the coffin on agribusiness ) , sent drones to Syria , bailed out financial speculators, and the list goes on. So Democrats and Republican Elected Presidents all had a hand in the continuous decline of leadership standards. Nixon would be a liberal by today’s standards. May I suggest you watch Ralph Nader. No longer a candidate, the old man still kicking.
