  1. People who are obsessed with numbers , tend to miss big on evaluating of one’sworth . They are poor value assessors. They are everywhere , in all walks of life. Understanding value takes a lot more than just crunching numbers.

Once they took over Anheuser Busch , they started a wave of payroll slashing , and the once in charge CEO went brazenly bragging on how they learned their tactics from Americans. Granted Budweiser was just as bad then as it is now. But not for one moment they said…. “ We can do better than this … “. It came on the Wall Street Journal, and I did not see this well, and to this day , their arrogance sticks to my crawl. Amber being owned by 3G Capital managed to ruin a perfectly good business , just as they did to other companies they control.

  4. For every Chipper Jones out there , there are thousands of Kenny Loftons plying the trade. Chipper got paid , not albatross paid but handsomely paid. Kenny Lofton moved around , not on salary dumps or being toxic. GM s summoned his services as often as they were needed.
