  2. And do you all know how they get away with these deals ? Because local print and media outlets are either controlled by corporations ( Gannet , Belo , Knight Ridder ) or bankrupt. There is no way they would get away with these gambits if investigative reporting sprouted out within their district constituencies at the local daily. No breaking news @6pm or next day on front page.
