  1. The whole arming the Saudi , who can’t manage to function in the battlefield reminds of how Roman Generals rose through the ranks by conquering territories. I assume legion commanders were promoted through the ranks through merit recognition by the success of their occupying campaigns. I once inavertedly shook the hands of some royalty member by accident ( one is not supposed to ). They had silky soft hands. Not callous ones. They never had to work for a living or dig a trench once in their lives! Now how in hell they can lead regional security not being battle tested ? At the very least, hate or love the Israelis, conscription is mandatory to all genres there. If you think the Israeli rank and file is going to march under orders from Saudis to do the dirty and grunt work, you got some wild imagination. It ain’t happening.
